Artist's Description

A helicopter with a large, multi-blade rotor system hovers above a stylized cityscape on the March 1931 cover of Popular Science magazine, costing 25 cents. Below the aircraft, a group of tiny spectators on the rooftop of a building are gathered around a circular landing pad, possibly witnessing a demonstration of this novel aviation technology.
